How quickly can you start my project? As soon as we have received your signed agreement, the requested documents and the initial payment, we can get started. This process is dependent on how quickly you get the information required to us. As soon as we have that information, we can get started right away!
How long does the process take? Typical provider enrollment processing takes 60-120 days for a new provider in a new state. This timeline can vary depending on a multitude of factors. If they request additional information that was not already provided. If the provider has not disclosed certain information, etc. We will meet with you before we begin to go over all information regarding the providers and ensure we cover all bases so that there are no delays in the process.
What happens if you receive a denial to join a network? We will appeal the denial twice. This can include us providing any additional information to the payors regarding special populations you might treat, any areas of specialized training you might have and anything that will make you stand out to the payors. If we appeal twice and they will still not accept you into the network, we can make a note to reapply for you again in 6 months, or you can select another insurance to begin the process with. If you would like to appeal more than twice, there will be an additional charge.
Why Modern Credentialing Services? There are so many credentialing companies, but most have multiple groups that they are working with at any given time and each rep working the files is only allowed to work each group for a certain number of hours a week (I used to work for another credentialing company and it caused serious delays in the process). Modern Credentialing has one dedicated person working your file, so that applications are submitted in a timely manner (within 24 hours of all information being received), responses a received more quickly and you receive correspondence more frequently.
How long is our agreement? Our agreement covers. the scope of work and is in effect until all work has been completed. We offer a maintenance package for each provider after initial services are complete that includes CAQH Updates, any recredentialing with any of the payors we worked on, or demo updates. Adding additional insurances would result in a per diem cost, which is broken down in your agreement.
